With aggressive lines and bold curves, the Mazda3 5-Door boasts the most expressive and distinctive look in its class. An aggressive downward-sloping roof and rear roofline spoiler converge on a convenient-yet-stylish hatchback rear-end, creating a low-sitting body that rests on widely-set alloy wheels. But these curves aren't just for looks: Mazda3's aerodynamic exterior minimizes drag for a quiet, fuel-efficient ride.
WATCH DEMO 0:48From sporty wheels to its sleek clear-lens taillights, Mazda3 masterfully blends function with design. Heated side mirrors, unobtrusive rain-sensing windshield wipers and chrome-tipped dual exhaust outlets are just some of the standard features that sit atop the stylish 17-inch alloy wheels with low-profile all-season radial tires on s Grand Touring.
WATCH DEMO 1:07Standard halogen headlights brightly illuminate the path ahead, or choose the available self-leveling Bi-Xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights and instant-on LED taillights for brighter, sharper light in all conditions. A first for the compact segment, the available Adaptive Front-lighting System pivots the headlight beam based on speed and steering angle to illuminate the curves ahead, while the available halogen fog lights help improve vision in inclement weather.
Mazda3 boasts a spacious interior—with 94.6 cubic feet of passenger volume—ergonomic, stylish seating and a cockpit full of features.

At Mazda, we strive to transform every single drop of fuel into pure adrenaline. So we started from scratch to engineer the SKYACTIV®-G 2.0L engine and paired it with the ultra-responsive SKYACTIV® transmissions to deliver increased performance while reducing fuel consumption and emissions by up to 15%. The result: 155 horsepower, 148 lb-ft of torque and an astounding EPA-estimated 39 MPG HWY.†
WATCH DEMO 0:50You can’t put a price on safety, so we didn’t. These advanced safety features are standard on every Mazda3:
We’re serious about safety. So we analyzed every angle of the Mazda3 with protection in mind. “Triple H” construction, high tensile steel reinforcements and additional spot welds improves structural rigidity and strength without adding extra weight. Active front head rests and six standard airbags,*** including advanced front and front side-impact airbags and fast-inflating air curtains, help protect the driver and passengers in the event of a collision. Should the airbags deploy, E911, featured on Grand Touring models, uses Bluethooth® and your paired phone to call 911 automatically.
You can’t always see every car on the road. That's why the available class-exlusive Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) System‡‡‡ is here to help. It utilizes motion sensor technology to automatically warn you when a vehicle enters your blind spot by illuminating an icon in the corresponding side-view mirror. The icon blinks and a warning chime sounds when the driver initiates the turn signal.
The best way to protect you and your passengers starts with seeing what’s ahead of you. The Adaptive Front-lighting System—a first in the compact class—automatically pivots the headlight beam up to 15° in the direction of your turn, based on vehicle speed and steering angle, thereby improving visibility and allowing you to spot potential hazards in your path.
