Our all-new 2.5L SKYACTIV®-G gasoline engine takes the efficiency of our
2.0L to a whole new performance level, with a larger bore and stroke,
and an optimized direct fuel injection system.

i-ELOOP††† is a unique regenerative braking system that
creates electricity from wasted energy when you slow down.
But unlike less efficient systems that use a battery, i-ELOOP uses
a capacitor to more efficiently store energy for Mazda6's electrical
features. The result: more horsepower to move the wheels.
Automatically controls the engine and brakes to maintain a safe speed and distance between you and the preceding vehicle.
Detects obstructions ahead and warns you of a possible collision.
Helps prevent frontal collisions when driving at low speeds by automatically applying the brakes, if needed.
